acquired her masters from the world renowed Government Medical
College at Miraj, India. She has ten years post M.S. experience,
including three years training in Surgical Oncology.Her area of
special interest is breast cancer. To gain special experience and
training in this field, she did a fellowship in breast surgery from the
Interdisciplinary Breast Center, Duesseldorf, Germany under the
European Breast Cancer Network Program. She further developed her
breast oncosurgery skills by doing a fellowship program at
the prestigiousTata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, a premier tertiary
cancer hospital in India. To keep abreast with the latest knowledge in her
field, She has attended several conferences and presented papers at
national and international meetings. She is actively involved in
spreading awareness about breast cancer by arranging screening camps
and holding CMEs. She is also actively involved in running clinical
trials.
She is continually striving for excellence
and is keen to learn newer techniques and acquire knowledge. She
is genuinely interested in the cause of breast cancer and wants to make
a positive difference in the lives of breast cancer patients.
